Buku Project 2012

Okay, so being from the South I know how amazing NOLA is. New Orleans, Louisiana, a cultural center of hip-hop, bounce, and jazz is bringing you the latest and greatest in hip-hop and electronic dance music at this crazy weekend event called the BUKU Project. It all goes down March 17-18 where some of the world’s best DJs will grace NOLA with their presence and epic music. The line up: Avicii, Wiz Khalifa, Skrillex, Yelawolf, Diplo, Porter Robinson, Mord Fustang, Gramatik, SBTRKT, Figure, Rockie Fresh, and SOOO many more. It surely is an event that will not disappoint and definitely worth seeing. I know I’m thinking about making the trek, so if you are at all interested I really recommend looking into it!!

Another massive track from Diplo coming in hot! Yes, it’s just that good. I’m so very impressed by his alteration in style! This time the track, Express Yourself, is in the genre of New Orleans Bounce. It basically sounds like house had a nasty run in on the bayou that left it really ruffed up and dirty.
