I just realized I created a post about an event in Atlanta, and considering a lot of our readers came here for AZ, CA, and NV shows, I didn’t want you all to freak out and think someone like took over the site. Lets look at this as simply an expansion. I know a lot of you in particular liked the info we would give out about the Steve LeVine Entertainment and Public Relations events, because lets be honest they put on some of the most killer shows in AZ. SO I thought I should let you all know that yes, I have moved to Atlanta and we shall see if we can kick things off out here, but that does not mean we will not be updating you about events over there in the Southwest and on the West coast!! The Chainsmokers vs. Dragonette – Let It Go (Chainsmokers Filter No. 2)

Hmmm so I’m not sure if it’s the super clutch vocals on this one, or the actual song that I have fallen in love with on this one. I mean, who doesn’t love Dragonette? Martina Sorbara has always been a personal fave of mine when it comes to female singer songwriters, but this song is super upbeat and catchy and its almost impossible not to fall in love with The Chainsmokers simply upon the first listen. I love this song, as well as almost everything else I have listened to of theirs so far… So definitely be expecting to hear more of them from here. SOOO DAMN GOOD. Get your dance on folks. Okay sorry for not posting in like forever, I graduated (Yay me!) and Kevin got into the architecture program program at the UofA so, we have been incredibly busy living our big kid lives. I am gonna try my best to post as much as possible, I leave in January to teach English in Nepal for a few months, but I am hoping to recruit a few peeps to help out. Nadia Ali will also be paying a very welcome visit to Phoenix in this glorious month of May, and continue to break in the new Monarch Theatre in downtown Phoenix. Known for her vocals in Rapture, Feels so Good, Keep it Coming (which we covered an epic remix of), iiO, etc. the girl has an amazing set of pipes and incredible attractiveness to accompany it. Rapture was one of the first songs I ever heard when I came into the EDM scene years ago, and her vocals still haunt me with utmost beauty. You can bet I’ll be at this show. Cheers

Bingo Players @ Clarion Hotel Scottsdale, AZ MAY 19

Seems like the Bingo Players were just here in March… must mean they like the AZ heat! They will be back this Saturday to warm things up by the pool after a night of Moguai. Moguai @ Wild Knight Scottsdale, AZ MAY 18

As if this month couldn’t get any crazier here in AZ, André Tegeler, more commonly known as Moguia will be in Phoenix this weekend. We covered him back when he dropped his album Mpire, and also saw him live at Beyond Wonderland. I can easily speak from experience when I say he is still one of the most underrated artists in the scene, as he was one of my favorite shows I’ve been to. If you like electronic and progressive house this is your show.

Zonderling – Sonderling (Original Mix)

Who is Zonderling?! Well from what I could dig up in 15 minutes from the seemingly elussive artist is that he is from the Netherlands, works under the Klopfgeist Record, and I really like this track! Sonderling was shown to me by a friend named Austin, and I have no idea how he found it, but am grateful for the share. What’s most enjoyable about this track is that it is very mimilastic for a progressive house tune, but every sound is absolutely necessary to the overall composure. The video above definitely accommodates the potentially mysterious and dreaminess vibe the track can give off. Whoever you are Zonderling, we here at ESOM are watching and beg for more! Daft Punk 8-Bitalized! aka Da Chip

Well! After a long posting hiatus, WE’RE BACK-YOU KNEW IT! Ok, now let’s get back to business. This fellow Da Chip here, has managed to compose and compile two full volumes of Daft Punk songs that have been covered in 8-bit gooey goodness. If these classic Daft Punk songs didn’t bring you back to another time already, then this surely will because they sound like they have been ripped straight from an N-64 or Gameboy!
